Dai Maou was known as the lord of the Netherworld. His ambition is to conquer the human world with darkness and likes to see the world suffer upon him. In the late years before, he attacked the royal castle of the Nativeland and held Chacha's parents as prisoners. Several long years he tried to find Chacha whom escaped with Seravi as he intends to capture every single family of the royalty. He was trapped in the castle and couldn't get out after Sir Genus cast a spell that shall hold him from ruling the world.
In order to break the strong spell, Dai Maou needs the three magical accessories that was held by Chacha, Riiya and Shiine. He send out his demon slaves to get these items and also get rid of Chacha. With his three main servants; Sorges, Yorda and Izu, Dai Maou spent a lot of his time and patient to capture Chacha but alas, he was defeated by the power of Chacha and the other 7 Paladins and peace restored after his demise.
